Healthcare Advisory Senior

Our Healthcare Advisory team is seeking a highly motivated Senior-level team member who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and collaborative environment. This role is responsible for delivering a full range of services including the development of project reports, analyses, and deliverables.

Our dedicated revenue cycle practice provides revenue cycle consulting to providers across the United States. Our team prides itself on conducting rapid revenue cycle assessments with realistic recommendations for revenue cycle transformation.  We have achieved this goal by seeking team members that have both previous consulting experience but also have served as leaders in a provider setting.  This role will provide you with a unique opportunity to rapidly learn tested revenue cycle approaches and have an active voice with the practice and our clients. 


Responsibilities Include:
  • Become familiar with the firm’s revenue cycle consulting methodologies and toolkits
  • Actively participate in revenue cycle engagements for healthcare clients ranging from private physician groups to large healthcare systems to private equity backed corporations
  • Continue personal development focused on obtaining revenue cycle certifications
  • Develop new insights into client issues; independently disaggregate portions of projects, then develop vision and appropriate issue plan
  • Construct new analytic approaches; do exceptional “completed staff work” including development of insightful recommendations that achieve measurable performance improvements
  • Manage relationships across client leadership stakeholders
  • Proactively inform stakeholders about decisions, data, etc. that affects their work. Establish, implement, and consistently follow team processes to ensure continual information flow in all directions
  • Able to flexibly communicate with varied audiences, using appropriate and effective methods (written, verbal, presentation, illustration), style, grammar, and tone
  • Develop client relationships that results in follow-up work and is requested by clients for further involvement
  • Occasional travel to client sites which include client interfaces   
  • 40 - 50% travel each month, or as client needs dictate

Skills Needed:
  • Revenue cycle experience and at least two years of consulting experience
  • Organizational and strong time management skills 
  • Intermediate level PC skills with focus on Excel and Power Point
  • Prioritize effectively and meet tight deadlines 
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • A record of good judgment and the ability to know when to escalate issues 
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team


Tax Manager - Business

Windham Brannon is in search of a Manager to join our Business Tax team. 
 

Responsibilities of the position include:

  • Interact closely with clients to provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise.
  • Conduct primary and secondary review of complex income tax returns including Corporate, S-Corp, and partnership clients.
  • Manage and implement multiple projects simultaneously, which include client interviews, computations, analysis, data gathering, and coordination of Windham Brannon and client resource.
  • Conduct research and analysis of a wide range of tax issues related to business transactions and tax implications of financing techniques.
  • Provide leadership and ownership to the corporate tax compliance work to minimize the processing time and reduce the all-in cost of work involved.
  • Motivate and mentor junior staff members by providing them with leadership, counselling, and professional guidance.
  • Start to develop new business relationships with potential clients and company personnel to grow Windham Brannon’s clientele base and work to foster on-going efforts to obtain additional opportunities for the Firm.

 

The qualifications and experience we are targeting include:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Public Accounting at the Senior or Manager level.
  • An active CPA license.
  • Prior experience supervising tax professionals on a project or engagement basis.
  • Experience with clients in a variety of industries including manufacturing, construction, retail, restaurant, etc.
 

Tax Manager - HNW

  • Experience working with high net worth individuals and multi-generational families.
  • Expertise in areas including income tax planning, estate and gift planning, international tax, and tax controversy.
 

Assurance Senior

Our Assurance department is in search of a Senior to add to the team. A Senior at WB typically has 3-7 years of experience in public accounting. A CPA is not required for this level but is encouraged and necessary for promotion to the next level.

 

Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Conduct all phases of audit, review, and compilation engagements including planning, risk assessment, research, reporting of findings, and other procedures as required.
  • Prepare workpapers to document scope and findings of the engagement in accordance with AICPA standards.
  • Drafting financial statements and related financial statement disclosures in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Supervising, training, and mentoring associates and interns on engagements.

 

In addition, the skills needed include the ability to:

  • Complete assignments, tasks, and project components in a timely, accurate, and budget-conscious manner.
  • Coach and direct team members in meeting client and self-development expectations.
  • Keep the engagement manager and partner aware of engagement progress.
  • Manage day-to-day client relations and develop an effective working relationship with the client.

Senior Service Auditor (SOC)

Windham Brannon is seeking an experience SOC Senior to join our Risk Assurance & Advisory Services (RAAS) team. 
 
Necessary Skills and Background
  • Experience with planning, executing, and reporting on the results of Systems & Organizational Control (SOC) examinations (SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3) for clients in various industries.
  • Experience in a “service auditor” role at a public accounting firm issuing SOC examination reports.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a professional services environment, specifically a public accounting or consulting firm. Experience must include responsibility for the preparation and review of written status reports and project deliverables. 

Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with internal control assessments such as Cybersecurity, HIPAA Security, and IT and operational audit projects.
  • Facilitate IT, cybersecurity, and operational risk assessments in support of clients' overall enterprise risk management efforts.
  • Establish and manage relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels and assist in the planning and execution of engagements.
  • Assist principals and senior management on proposals and business development calls as needed.
  • Understand Windham Brannon and its service lines and actively assess/present ways to serve clients.
  • Remain current on new developments in Risk Assurance & Advisory Services capabilities and industry knowledge.
 
Additional Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Accounting, Cybersecurity, or other relevant disciplines.
  • Holds relevant professional certifications including, but not limited to: CISA, CIA, PMP, CISSP, or CPA.
  • Familiarity with various security framework such as Trust Services Criteria, SAN CIS Critical Security Controls, NIST, and others.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.


Assurance Experienced Associate

Our Assurance department is in search of an Experienced Associate to add to the team. This level at WB typically has 2-3 years of experience in public accounting. A CPA is not required for this level but is encouraged.

 

Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Effectively communicating with clients to receive information necessary to complete the engagement with minimum disruption to the client.
  • Prepare workpapers to document scope and findings of the engagement in accordance with AICPA standards.
  • Performing other accounting, auditing, and consulting duties as needed in engagements and as assigned by supervisory personnel.

 

In addition, the skills needed include the ability to:

  • Complete assignments, tasks, and project components in a timely, accurate, and budget-conscious manner.
  • Work cooperatively with team members to provide quality service to clients through sharing, gaining, and gathering information.
